1. Yogurt Gel – Blossom Ending Collection

- Nude syrup gels
- Used since July 2022
- $190 CAD 12pc full set ($15.83/pc)
These were the first gel polishes I tried from Yogurt Gel and I was impressed! It has a large range of nude shades, plus a milky white and mauve colour. These are currently my go-to nude polishes because they level easily, are not streaky, and 2 coats is sufficient for a natural nude shade. An added bonus is that they also smell GREAT. My favourite nude shade for myself is syrup #12 pictured above.
2. Candy Gel – Syrup gel polishes

- Pastel coloured syrup gels
- Used since April 2022
- $240 CAD 12pc full set ($20/pc)
If you read my instagram captions, then you should already know I’ve raved about these syrup gels ever since I got my hands on the Navillera Collection. The pastel colours are perfect for spring and summer nails. The polishes have a slightly thicker viscosity, but they are not sticky. My favourite way to use these syrup gels is to create multi-coloured ombres (particularly for dreamy skies!). They honestly make the ombre process easy peasy. I’d like to say its my ombre technique, but it really isn’t. It is the syrup gels. Two coats and a brush is all you need to create perfectly blended ombres.
3. DVOK – Milkis DS02

- Milky syrup white
- Used since September 2022
- $26 CAD
These are the BEST milky white syrup gels I’ve ever tried – and I’ve tried 5-6 different milky white gel polishes. The DVOK Milkis DS02 white shade is ideal, 2 coats gives you the perfect opacity and levels out beautifully. No streakiness here! I’ve gotten great feedback as well from people I’ve recommended this to which make sense since it is currently sold out.
If you are wondering how I rank this against Yogurt Gel’s white in their Blossoms Ending Collection (listed above), my pick is DVOK Milkis. The Yogurt Gel white I find is a bit harder to apply evenly, but I would use it when I want an even whiter colour.
4. DGEL – Painting gels

- Painting gels for detailed art
- Used since May 2021
No surprise here, all of my detailed art is done with DGEL painting gels. I own the Disney Painting Gels and the majority of the Full Painting Collection. Painting gels are absolute game changers for nail art and this is something I wished I knew when I first started nails. They have a much high opacity so you can cover base colours without having to add too many layers. I highly recommend getting the JINI white and black painting pots (these came with my Disney Collection, but can also be purchased a single pots) because they give 1 coat coverage. 1 coat coverage is crucial for painting those crisp fine lines.
You can also choose from a variety of sets:
- Disney Painting Gels: $220 CAD – 12pcs set | Bright vibrant colours
- Full Painting Collection: $1,100 CAD – 60pcs | Can be purchased in sets of 12pc as well
- DGEL x JINI Painting Gels: $220 CAD – 15pcs set | Bold colours
- DGEL x Popcoat Unicorn Painting Gels: $365 CAD – 15 pcs set | Pastel colours
5. Izemi – No-Wipe Top Coat

- Used since August 2022
- $29 CAD
My go-to no-wipe top coat! It gives a super beautiful glossy finish and has excellent durability against daily scratches. It applies easily and never has any bubbles.
These are my Top 5 nail products from Sweetie Nail Supply for 2022! I hope you found this helpful and feel free to reach out if you have questions about any of the products I’ve used. You can also find a list of products I’ve tried in my Instagram guides.
